Source countries
Why Thailand and China?
-
Thailand
Thailand holds a key position in world ornamental plant exports. We work with growers who specialise in cacti such as gymnocalycium, astrophytum and euphorbia.
-
China
China offers a competitive edge in the global market with both affordable and rare plant varieties. As in plastics, rubber and automotive, it has adopted quality production standards for ornamental plants and succulents too.
-
The Netherlands
The Netherlands alone accounts for 25% of world ornamental plant exports. Thanks to its auction system, plants reach buyers worldwide within 24 hours. Even for exports from Turkey, the Netherlands is the main market.
